Regulation for the Gift Card (Voucher) ABE Books

I. General provisions

1. The following regulation describes the rules of using a Gift Card (Voucher) ABE Books, later referred as a Card.
2. The issuer of Card is ABE Books Sp. z o.o. with its headquarters in Warsaw, Plac Bankowy 4, 00-095 Warsaw.

II. General information concerning the Card

1. The Card is a paper or digital form card issued to the bearer, which allows for a one time purchase in the online bookstore abe.pl/bookstore or in the stationary ABE Books Bookstore.
2. Card is not subject to exchange for money in full or in part and it cannot be returned to the Publisher.
3. The realization of the Card by the user constitutes an important transaction, even in the case when he/she obtains the Card in an illegal way.

III. Rules concerning the use of the Card

1. The Card is not subject to exchange for money.
2. The Card can only be used to purchase books from the abe.pl/bookstore or at the stationary ABE Books Bookstore, accuarate to the informations provided at the Card. 
3. In the case when the nominal value of the Card is not sufficient to pay the full amount due for the goods, the User is obligated to pay the difference by cash, payment or credit card.
4. During the realization of the payment by the Card the User is not entitled to receive change, when the value of the purchased goods is lower than the nominal value of the Card.
5. In case of returning goods purchased by the use of the Card, conducted on the basis of general regulations concerning the sale of goods and services, the user of the Card will receive a new Card.

IV. Responsibility of ABE Books Sp. z o.o. and claims connected with the Card

1. ABE Books Sp. z o.o. does not take any responsibility for Cards, which were damaged or lost after being issued to the buyer.
2. In case of losing or damaging the Card, its owner is not entitled to receive a free replacement Card.
3. Any claims connected with the Card will be considered by the Issuer in a written form within 30 days from the day of placing the written claim by the user of the Card. Claims connected with the Cards can be made directly in the  ABE-IPS Bookstore, Plac Bankowy 4, 00-095 Warsaw.

V. Final provisions

1. ABE Books Sp. z o.o. reserves the right to make changes in the following Regulation without giving any reason. Users of the Cards will be informed about any changes in an announcement placed in the ABE Books Bookstore as well as in the website www.abe.pl.
2. The following Regulation is available in the ABE Books Bookstore,  Plac Bankowy 4, 00-095 Warsaw, as well as on the website www.abe.pl.
3. The User accepts the Regulation with the first use of the Card.
4. The following Regulation came into force from 1 September 2021.
