Newbery Medal winning author Beverly Cleary expertly depicts the trials and triumphs of growing up through a relatable heroine who isn't afraid to be exactly who she is. This classic chapter book is an excellent choice to share during homeschooling, in particular for children ages 7 to 9 who are reading independently.
