Journal of Mining Science is a translation of "Fiziko-Tekhnicheskie Problemy Razrabotki Poleznykh Iskopaemykh", a publication of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Novosibirsk. It publishes papers on geomechanics and information geoscience, creation of resource-saving underground and open-pit mining technologies, strength and stability of mine workings, investigation into the wave processes in rock mass and flow of hydrocarbons in the strata, mineral dressing, mining machine science, and ventilation systems in underground workings.
