Improvements in specialty rankings were strong with 23 LWW-published titles holding 28 spots in the top 5 rankings across 18 specialties, and an impressive 50 titles holding 57 top 10 positions across 30 specialties.

Gains in IFs were seen by half of the LWW titles included in the 2010 JCR, with 24 titles moving 25 percent or greater.

The average increase among two-thirds of LWW published journals with an IF was a standout 27 percent from 2009 to 2010.
