Nature Publishing Group unveils new open access journal - Cell Death Discovery
2015-06-22

Scientific publisher Nature Publishing Group together with the Cell Death and Differentiation Association (ADMC) and the editorial team of Cell Death & Differentiation, and Cell Death & Disease recently launched a new open access journal, Cell Death Discovery.

Cell Death Discovery provides a complementary and unified forum for scientists as well as clinicians within which to publish their work, in conjunction with its sister journals, Cell Death & Differentiation and Cell Death & Disease.

Cell Death Discovery is an international open access journal dedicated to publication of research at the intersection of cell death and medicine, provided it is scientifically sound. The journal will offer a double-blind peer review option.

Professor Gerry Melino, MRC Toxicology Unit Leicester, UK, and University Rome Tor Vergata, Italy, will serve as the Editor-in-Chief.

Cell Death & Differentiation is devoted to scientific excellence in the field of cell biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry of cell death and disease. Cell Death & Disease focuses on the field of translational cell death and seeks to promote diverse and integrated areas of Experimental and Internal Medicine.

The new journal is open for submissions now. Articles are published under a CC BY license by default, with other licenses available upon request. The journal will publish original papers, together with topical, usually solicited, reviews, editorial correspondence and occasional commentaries on controversial and scientifically informative issues.
