As a corporate partner of POLIN Museum and Association of the Jewish Historical Institute of Poland, we would like to invite you to participate in this very special event.
Frank Stella and Synagogues of Historic Poland provides a unique opportunity to meet an artist widely regarded as be one of the greats of twentieth-century American art. The exhibition features the extraordinary work of Frank Stella, and also tells the fascinating story of its creation. For the first time Stella’s reliefs from the Polish Village series will be set side by side with the prewar photographs and measured drawings of wooden synagogues that inspired them – a fascinating overlap and interplay of two seemingly distant worlds: that of the Polish wooden synagogue and modern American art.
