Academic publisher
SAGE Publishing has announced that it will begin publishing the journal
Feminist Review from January 2019.
Since 1979
Feminist Review has adopted a creative approach to the
discipline, addressing the relationship between theory and practice,
using the research to push the feminist agenda in new directions and
prioritising an intersectional feminist politics. Because of this, the
journal has become an influential platform for debate.
Along with academic articles the journal publishes experimental pieces,
visual and textual media and political interventions, including
interviews, short stories, poems and photographic essays. Beginning
publication with SAGE in 2019, the journal will be a published three
times a year, in March, July and October.
Working with SAGE will help the development and enhance the impact of the journal within the field.
The journal has been challenging the ideas of gender, culture, race,
class and sexuality for nearly 40 years. Expanding the boundaries of the
debate around feminism, the journal is an influential platform for
global engagement.
