Cambridge University Press to offer free books and journals to mark World Mental Health Day
2019-10-08

Academic publisher Cambridge University Press has announced that about 200 book chapters and journal articles are being made free to access online to mark World Mental Health Day. The titles, which cover various aspects of mental health and wellbeing, will be available to read free of charge until the end of October.

World Mental Health Day is observed every 10th of October and this year the focus is on suicide prevention. This is reflected in the choice of titles featured in the free collection, including The Neuroscience of Suicidal Behavior, the Cambridge Handbook of Psychology, Health, and Medicine, and The Cambridge Handbook of International Prevention Science.

Journal articles from key publications including CNS Spectrums, Epidemiology and Psychiatric Sciences, and Global Mental Health are also being made available, alongside blog posts from authors and leading experts in the field.
