The contributors of the present volume approach the Pseudo-Clementine Homilies or Klementia as an original rhetorical, and philosophical novel from late antique Syria. They focus on the role of rhetorical education, Sophistic traditions, ancient philosophy, and theological discussions in this narrative and its reflections on the concept of truth.
