Mobile commerce is an indicator of the economic gap and the consequent digital divide between economically developed countries and countries with emerging economies. In this sense, the foundations of a theory are exposed to explain the consequences of mobile commerce from the economic, technological, marketing and psychological determinants that lead a person to acquire products through mobile protocols.
