The concept of osseodensification has changed the paradigm of implant site preparation and is found to be beneficial in creating a stronger expanded osteotomy for implant placement, through compaction and autografting the surrounding bone particularly in areas with low density bone. In this book we have summarized the technique, mechanism of action, advantages and disadvantages of osseodensification. Also we have discussed various protocols for the use of Densah Bur in different bone types.
