Academic publisher Oxford University Press (OUP) has launched a new open access journal, Environmental Epigenetics. The field of epigenetics has seen tremendous growth in the last few years, and OUP has Editor-in-Chief Michael K. Skinner leading the journal.
The scope of the journal will be environmental impacts on epigenetics on both a molecular and physiological level, involving all living organisms. This includes areas from evolution, ecology and population epigenetics to medicine, disease etiology and the developmental origins of disease. How the environment impacts the molecular mechanisms and processes involved in epigenetics and genetics is included. The journal is now open for submissions and OUP will waive article processing charges for an introductory period.
