'Face - Flip - Face Fabric' contains two images one backing the other. The purpose is to use the fabric, one time with one image and next time by reversing with the other one, serving dual purpose; One is added thickness and other is double side usage with differently looking colour and image which break the monotonous. For the last few decades, the fabric was produced using only one weave, that is self stitched double cloth which is having two limitations. One is the roughness of coarser fabric because of the binding weaves and other is the lifting of huge number of ends for back picks. This book addresses the above issues with the following objectives: - To evolve new compound weave namely 'Orthogonal Weft Tapestry'; - To use the new weave for producing Simple and Figured Face - Flip - Face Fabric; - To design new loom technique namely 'Double Decker Shedding' for weaving the new structure. This book aims to give the graduates and designers of Textile Technology, a practical knowledge in the subject of 'Designing and Weaving of Compound Fabric Structures' and guide them to manufacture diversified fabrics for domestic and export market using both heald and jacquard shedding.
