AIP Publishing, a not-for-profit scholarly publisher in the physical sciences, is making their content freely available to scientists who are impacted, to support global research during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Scientists and students in affected regions can now register on Scitation.org to activate free full-text access to content during this period. After enabling this access to researchers in China several weeks ago, AIP Publishing is extending this solution to scientists in other regions where academic and research institutions have been closed. This will ensure that researchers have access to the latest content without disruption.
AIP Publishing has been working with library partners to facilitate access for their faculty and students through their preferred federated access solutions such as Shibboleth and Open Athens. AIP Publishing has Google Scholar’s Campus Activated Subscriber Access (CASA) in place to support off-campus access and will be piloting Universal CASA for remote access across multiple devices.
AIP Publishing has committed to providing global researchers in the physical sciences with the information, service and support they need to work effectively during this extended stay-at-home period.
